The pattern is the same as KEVIN's, and is a reproduction of a scarf called FICHU, made in northern France 200 years ago, at a superb printing factory in Kyoto. The motif is thistle flowers and leaves, a standard at the time. Paisley, an exotic pattern like small flowers, was brought to Europe from India in the 17th century by the East India Company, and later led to the American bandana. This is a reproduction of the French textile that is its origin.
